FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What locations does Along The Thames Staging service? Oxford County, Middlesex county, Norfolk County & areas.
Why does home staging work? When buyers are given an opportunity to "mentally move in" and visualize what a home has to offer by properly marketing it from day 1, they are inclined to make quality offers quickly, reducing days on the market.
Why should I have a home consultation? Having a consultation conducted is a true stress reliever, the ultimate time saver and takes the guess work off you. A consultation is an all in one actionable and empowering report that provides you insightful recommendations on what your home needs to prepare for market.
Do I have to implement all the suggestions listed in my home owners report? It is advisable for the best possible outcome of your property sale that you complete 100% of the recommendations given to you. A minimum of 75% of the recs in the home owners report should be complete. Your home owners report will outline the tasks in priority that should be completed specific to your home.
Do I need to prepare before my home consultation? You will receive a client care package prior to my arrival on consultation day. Take a moment to read through the package sent to you.
Why should I take the time to paint my home before selling if the buyer is likely to paint anyways? Move in ready homes are more appealing. Buyers are likely to envision their items in a space that are not clouding their judgment with colour. Especially if its a colour that doesn't suit the person walking through. Potentially resulting in a lower offer.
What if I don’t like the home staging items brought into my home? Design style and decor selection are at the sole discretion of Along The Thames Staging Co and our expertise. Marketing Properties to sell and Designing properties to live are entirely different.
